One great search engine for all projects, tasks, meetings, conversations in Workoy.app A great search experience is key to Workjoy - my first startup was a e-commerce searche engine after all 😅
So with this update we gave it some extra love to make it even better.
We improved:
- Highlight matches so it is quick to see why we found a the results.
- Promote best results so you don't get overwhelmed with a ton of options.
- Unified search across result types. Before we split each result in to its type such as projects, task, people etc. This made it harder to get to the best results so now we have combined all results in to one.
- Actions and navigation now comes first so you can quickly use search to navigate the app or perform actions.
- Even faster performance so all responses are now feels instant.
- Improved accuracy so we had the intented item in our top 3 every time and in our top 1 over half of our test cases.
